ഗുല്‍മോഹര്‍ പൂക്കളോട് എനിക്ക് എന്നും അസൂയയായിരുന്നു .ഒരിക്കലും വാടാതെ ....ഒരിക്കലും കൊഴിയാതെ പൂത്തുലഞ്ഞു നില്‍ക്കുന്ന ഗുല്‍മോഹര്‍ ... എല്ലാ വേനല്‍ക്കാലത്തും കുടനിവര്‍ത്തുന്ന ഒരു ഗുല്‍മോഹര്‍ മരം എന്‍റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കുള്ള ഇടവഴിയിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു... ഇപ്പോഴും അത് പൂത്തിട്ടുണ്ടാകും ..............

Yesterday it rained.
Not in cats and dogs...Not enough to quench the (h)earth's thirst
but..a lot enough that made the heat to soar
Its now sultry....both inside and outside
And my mind ...like a vagrant bird, anticipate a spell of rain
To drain all my frets and relics.
